How long does it take to build a concrete pool?

How much does it cost to build an inground concrete pool?

Is a concrete or fibreglass pool better?
Having built both over the years , it’s easy to compare.
Fibreglass is 3 to 4 weeks quicker to install as you don’t have to wait for the concrete to ‘cure’ (harden to full strength).
BUT in every other area , concrete wins!

Is concrete or fibreglass easier to clean?
Fibreglass pools have a lip around the entire edge of the shell which is needed to maintain rigity during transportation. This creates a ledge for dirt and debris to gather, increasing cleaning and maintenance requirements.

A fibreglass pool only has around 12mm of fibreglass shell retaining heat, whereas a concrete pool has 175mm of concrete retaining heat.
